The Arshinagar Project invites you to the finale of Strange Factory -
Arshinagar Uthshab IV at Proscenium Art Centre, Ripon St., from 6:30 PM.
The events are as follows:

Dr. Vikadan:

Kerala based artist Vinu Joseph, who's trained at the Thrissur School of
Drama and London International School of Performing Arts, will present Dr.
Vikadan - a bouffon performance.

The essence of Bouffon is mocking: the mocking figure is a specific role,
existing in all humansocieties. Bouffon represents emotive expressions in
an amplified, distorted, exaggerated way, therebyprovoking laughter or
outrage. Dr.Vikadan is an exploration of theatrical territories inspired by
Jacques Lecoq
of Jacques Lecoq International School of Theatre, Paris. The usage of the
word buffoon comes from French and has entered the English theatrical
language through the work of Jacques Lecoq and his pedagogic inquiry into
performance approaches of comedy.

Peek-a-Boo:
Seeing, vision!! What does it really mean for us to see? Does seeing
something give us moreinformation, more certainty, more security/ faith/
clarity or does it delude us further? Have we landed in more chaos in
search for more clarity?

Peek-A-Boo celebrates sense of curiosity, sensation of a tickle creeping up
the spine, the unexplainable…maybe Magic!! Tingling layers of permanence
and opacity before the eyes. It’s a devised -movement based visual theater
piece, performed solo.

Game of hide and seek: Objects, dreams, people, choices, situations appear-
disappear, stay relevant- irrelevant, remain personal- impersonal.
Peek-A-Boo is a study of these shifts and what we go through when these
shifts occur.

অভিসারকক্ষ / The Meeting Room of Lovers

A short, improvisational piece based on Tagore's "Kshudhito Pashan" (The
Hungry Stones) and Faiz Ahmad Faiz's "Zindaan ki Ek Shaam" (An Evening in
Prison). Performed by Prosenjit Haldar, Maham Suhail, Arka Mukhopadhyay and
Chandana Sarma
