River stories: An evening of films, songs and reflections on Narmada

Narmada Solidarity Forum (NSF) has been an support group to the Narmada
Bachao Andolan and the people of Narmada across three states struggling for
justice. On the completion of one year of the new BJP rule, it is a good
time to take stock of the fact that “achhe din” is still being denied to
the people of Narmada. NSF is commemorating the spirit of the ongoing
battle in the Narmada Valley for the past 30 years and raise awareness
about the same amongst people through an event at Paradigm Shift. This
event is a part of a larger series of protests from different spheres and
sectors of people who are coming together to raise their voice against the
current government's systematic sabotage of welfare and justice.

Come let us support the struggle in the Narmada valley by participating in
an event: River Stories: An evening of films and Songs on the Narmada and a
discussions on the Narmada Dam and the Statue of Unity project and its
implications 6:30pm at Paradigm Shift on June 4th. The event would entail
two film screenings pertaining to the Narmada struggles, interspersed by
songs of protests from across the globe.
