In the 32nd edition of FD Zone, Delhi, we bring you "The Pinochet Case"
directed by acclaimed filmmaker Patricio Guzman. In this film, he
investigates the legal process that eventually convicted the former
dictator of Chile Augusto Pinochet. The film explores how a small group of
people in Madrid laid the groundwork for his capture, and documents the
testimony of of victims, who travelled all the way to Madrid from Chile to
testify - most of them women, relatives of the "disappeared," ex-prisoners
that had suffered all kinds of torture and interrogation in secret prisons.

The Pinochet Case is an account of the people - lawyers and relatives of
those who were disappeared - who worked over the years to ensure that
Pinochet eventually got a conviction.
