Subject: Report of losses sustained during Chennai floods


Kindly find attached a brief survey report (that was released to the media
today) done of the losses during Chennai floods with special reference to
loss of possession, work days, damages to homes, uneven
relief/compensation. The report has been submitted to Mr Atulya Mishra
Disaster Relief Commissioner (under Revenue dept) and also been sent to the
Chief Minister of the state and to the Chief Secretary.

This report is for posting and circulation.
