FOOTNOTES ON DOCUMENTARY PRACTICE: The Beginnings of Enquiry.


In the form of an exhibition and film screenings at Goethe-Institut / Max Mueller Bhavan with the students of the Creative Documentary Course (CDC), the event is a proposal for Unravelling, Gleaning and Fragmenting as modes of enquiry into documentary film. 


‘Footnotes…’ invites conversations and questions around seeing, framing, thinking and listening within and to the world.





On Aug 30, an exhibition walkthrough conducted by filmmakers Surabhi Sharma and Priya Sen in the morning is followed by film screenings from the students in the evening. 


On Aug 31, actor-director and activist Maya Rao along with filmmaker RV Ramani start the day's proceedings followed by film screenings in the evening. Join us both days in Siddhartha Hall.
