Indian film critics regarded Meena Kumari as a "historically incomparable" actress of Hindi cinema. An actress who made waves as an actor beyond compare in the 60s, who got the author-backed roles and whose male co-stars were said to be wary of starring opposite her - Meena Kumari is still a school of acting by herself.!


In this month's Nashist, Impresario Asia pays a poetic and musical tribute to one of the most sensitive, finest film actor Meena Kumari. 


- Dr. Lavlin Thadani, a poet, film maker and journalist will present the poetry of Meena Kumari. 
- Sanjeev Upadhyaya, renowned journalist, newscaster and face of Indian Cinema on Doordarshan in conversation with
- Vibhas Chander Verma. a professor, a connoisseur of cinema and 
- Anis Amrohvi, a cinema journalist and close observer of art of cinema, will present glimpses from Meena Kumari's eventful life.
