A. Reserved for SC/ST (Special recruitment drive III)

Applications are invited on the prescribed form for the following posts: 

I. Lecturer in physics –1 post (reserved for ST.However, SC candidates may also be considered if ST candidate is not available) 

Specialization: High Energy Physics/Condensed Matter Physics

II.Lecturer in Electronics—1 post (reserved for SC. However, ST candidates may also be considered if SC candidate is not available) 

Specialisation: VSLI/Automation/Digital Design


B. Unreserved posts


Lecturer in Mathematical Sciences - 1 Post 

Specialization: Algebra, Classical and Continuum Mechanics.

II. Lecturer in Computer Science – 1 Post

Specialization: Open

Minimum qualification: 

For Lecturer in Physics and Mathematical Sciences:


Good academic record with at least 55% (50% for SC/ST) of marks or its equivalent grade in the UGC seven point scale at Master’s degree level in the relevant subject from an Indian University or equivalent degree from a foreign University.


Qualify in the eligibility test (NET) for lecturership conducted by the UGC, CSIR, or similar test accredited by the UGC.

For Lecturer in Electronics & Computer Science: 

(a) M.Tech/M.S in the appropriate branch with 1st Class or equivalent (5% marks relaxable in case of SC/ST candidate). 

Pay Scale: Rs.8000-275-13500/-

Prescribed application form can be obtained from the office of the undersigned on cash payment of Rs.200/- in cash or draft payable in Tezpur or by post sending a request accompanied by a bank draft of Rs. 250/- in favour of Registrar, Tezpur University payable at Tezpur and a self-addressed envelope of size 13x27 c.m.

Application form can also be downloaded from our website www.tezu.ernet.in. However at the time of submission of completed application form the required fee of Rs.200/- must be paid through Demand Draft.

Completed applications along with attested copies of all certificates, mark sh
proof, present position, pay etc.should be sent to the undersigned by Registered post/Speed post. Those in employment must apply through proper channel or submit NOC from the concerned employer. However, an advance copy may be sent.
