This is indeed disturbing, but not surprising at all. Corporal
punishment is one of many social conspiracies we continue to
perpetrate upon ourselves.

Are you doing something about this? Also, could we know what kind of a
school this is? An 'elite' school, or an 'ordinary' one, or a
'government' school? It seems there is a hidden sub-text of class.
