[Reader-list] A Suggestion

dear All,

There are many different sensibility that populate this list.

Why don't we make that as a base for a rigorous re-thinking of the  
contemporary life.

My suggestion:

Some intriguing and difficult texts could be suggested by list members  
and we all read and run a commentary on it. Maybe a text could run for  
14 days and then another text could be brought in. This way we could  
make this list a lively thinking place.

In schools/colleges we are all taught "debating" (bhahes) but rarely  
taught to "engage in dialogue" (samvad). So lets try out a few  
experiments to outdo our socialisations!
