As far as I know, the Supreme Court judgement in the Shah Bano Case had nothing to do with 'single' or 'triple talaaq'.
 
The case was about alimony/maintenance entitlements after divorce.
 
The Judgement was in any case rendered meaningless by  "The Muslim Women (Protection of Rights on Divorce) Act, 1986"
