Bipin ji, I know for a fact that not just poor Muslims, but even young
Muslim professionals with immaculate credentials had been denied
loans. A Muslim colleague was denied a car loan despite a healthy bank
account, all so called KYC documents. The loan agent told her only
very well known or well to do Muslims get loans easily. Several banks
carry out such profiling. It usually stems from a paranoia about the
community.of course it never found space in the paper because people
could not believe it and the bank officially denied it.My friend is
level headed and took it in her stride, another person may not.
