About Us

The Frankfurt Book Fair has created several offices throughout the
world in New York, Beijing, Bucharest and Moscow.

Each office is a contact exchange and cultural mediator between the
German book trade and that of the office’s host region. The German Book
Office New Delhi began its operations from February 2008. It serves as
the contact point between German as well international book industries
and the book industry in South Asia. The main aim of the office is to
facilitate more collaborations as well as business between South Asian
and German book industries. The cultural aspect of the office obviously
involves promoting German books and literature in the region and also
making South Asian books popular in Germany.
