Raheema, it makes sad reading even when you put this expression in jest,
truth is in the state of Gujarath, the death of muslims is big issue and
tear jerking and vote gathering tool for some, for the anchors it is also
the award gaining "story" but for a simple human like me, it is a tragedy
where many lives were lost, from both hindu and muslim communities because
of fanatic assertion of faith. it is also a fact that we are forgetting that
both hindus and muslims struggled for freedom of India, and did not wish to
divide India like the loot of robbery.in riots after the division of the
nation, many hindus have died, so also muslims but all the riots were
organised by the cronies of Congress and left did the propaganda of blaming
the sangh parivar, sangh like an elephant never bothered to deny or rebutt
the propaganda as it was not its need nor objective as it was more in making
hindu more aware of the danger of being divided society.
A study by mrs. rajeshwari of the riots since Independence, posted in this
list few months ago clearly classifies the deaths, perpetretators of the
riots, and amusing is the fact that all those who organised these riots were
from congress and many of them became leaders and MLAs and MPs of congress
as "muslim' nethas.!
In free India, none of the citizens in the first few decades showed off the
faith and caste, this became fashionale and must factor in the recent
decades after the emrgency.debatable but true.
Having many close friends in all the communities, it just is fascinating to
see the younger generations getting informed with wrong information of the
communities, for even today muslims and hindus wish peace and harmony, most
of them, but for those few politically ambitious greedy individuals in all
the communities.1
regards,
rajen.
