Listening: Active Presence of Aura of the Ordinary
Suraj, Shamsher and Neelofar were part of the Cybermohalla Ensemble (2001-13), and co-authrored innumerable books, broadsheets, and art works with the Ensemble. Notable among them are Trickster City: Writings from the Belly of the Metropolis (Penguin-India, 2010, English translation of Bahurupiya Shehr, Rajkamal Prakashan, 2007), and Cybermohalla Hub (Sternberg, 2012).
Suraj Rai: is a writer, cinephile and Computer Analyst. in 2010 he received a scholarship from Community College Initiative Program to study computer administration in Washington, United states. From 2012 He is working with Vahura, New Delhi as Computer Analyst.
Neelofar: is a writer. She initiated a programme that evolved over nine month inside the 1:1 prototype of the Cybermohalla Hub building designed by Hirsch and Müller, during Sarai Reader 09 exhibition process (Gurugram, 2012-13). She worked with Vani Prakashan (prominent Hindi Publishing house) as Social Media Coordinator from 2013-15. Currently she works at the Pustak Mahal (esteemed Publishing House)- New Delhi as Public Relation Representative.
Shamsher Ali:is a writer and photographer.He initiated a programme that evolved over nine month inside the 1:1 prototype of the Cybermohalla Hub building designed by Hirsch and Müller, during Sarai Reader 09 exhibition process (Gurugram, 2012-13). Shamsher co-founded the art collective Kosh in 2013. He works at the Raqs Studio, Delhi as fabrication convener and 3D graphics designer.
